Cypress Village (Planning Area 40) Proposed General Plan Amendment and Zone Change for Residential Development
PROJECT STATUS: UNDER REVIEW
Proposed development is to occur on a 20-acre vacant site located at the southeast corner of Sand Canyon Avenue and Trabuco Road/Great Park Boulevard in Planning Area 40.
Project Applicant has submitted General Plan Amendment and Zone Change applications to rezone the project site from General Plan Land Use category Community Commercial (Zoning District 4.2O Community Commercial) to General Plan Land Use category Medium Density Residential (Zoning District 2.3N Medium Density Residential).
The anticipated 205,000 square feet of commercial intensity will be removed and developed with 159-unit attached condominiums, a one-acre private park, and a one-acre private childcare site. Associated development applications have also been submitted to support the proposed residential development.
