A Request for Appeal is to be used when appealing a decision of the Director of Community Development, the Zoning Administrator or the Planning Commission. A request to appeal a decision of the Director of Community Development and/or the Zoning Administrator shall be appealed to the Planning Commission. An appeal based on a decision of the Planning Commission shall be appealed to the City Council. All appeals shall be filed in accordance with Irvine Zoning Code Section 2-5-1 et al and within 15 calendar days of the date of the decision.

Planning Commissioner and former Irvine City Councilmember Mary Ann Gaido passed away Wednesday, September 6. We are grateful for the vision, dedication, and leadership Mary Ann provided throughout more than four decades of public service to the City and its residents.
As the City of Irvine continues its pursuit of City Council district elections, the City is actively engaging residents to ensure their voices are heard in creating the boundaries of the future voting districts. Residents can provide input on the focus maps at upcoming districting meetings.
