New Features: e-Comment and Live Stream for Online Meeting Participation

The City is pleased to announce that the Planning Commission meetings are now available through WebEx, as well as a dial-in conference call line. In an effort to enhance community engagement, e-Comment, a new web-based feature, is now available. E-Comment allows community members to submit comments on upcoming agenda items, as well as throughout a Planning Commission meeting. Comments should be submitted before public comments are heard for each item.

HOW TO SUBMIT A COMMENT:

To submit an e-Comment on an upcoming meeting agenda prior to commencement of the meeting, click here and select the respective agenda item.

To submit an e-Comment on an upcoming meeting agenda during the meeting, click here and select the respective agenda item.

YOU MAY SUBMIT COMMENTS ON ANY AGENDA ITEM OR ON ANY ITEM NOT ON THE AGENDA, IN WRITING VIA MAIL TO "ATTN: PLANNING COMMISSION," ONE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA, IRVINE, CA 92606; BY EMAIL TO PLANNINGCOMMISSION@CITYOFIRVINE.ORG; OR THROUGH E-COMMENT. E-COMMENTS FOR AGENDA ITEMS WILL BE READ INTO THE RECORD AT THE TIME DETERMINED BY THE CHAIRPERSON.

PLEASE NOTE: THE PLANNING COMMISSION IS MAKING EVERY EFFORT TO FOLLOW THE SPIRIT AND INTENT OF THE BROWN ACT AND OTHER APPLICABLE LAWS REGULATING THE CONDUCT OF PUBLIC MEETINGS, IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE TRANSPARENCY AND PUBLIC ACCESS. IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF COMMUNICATIONS OF PUBLIC COMMENTS RELATED TO ITEMS ON THE AGENDA, OR ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA, ARE PROVIDED PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE MEETING.
