Animal Breeds at the Center
Thank you for your interest in adopting an animal from the Irvine Animal Care Center. Adopting a new family member can be an exciting time. Whether you have seen a specific animal on our website or have a breed you may be interested in, our adoption counselors are here to help with the process.
The Center has recently adopted the ASPCA’s Meet Your Match program. This highly regarded program uses the information you provide us about you and your lifestyle, and our adoption counselors take the information and work with you to find a wonderful new family member. Do you have your heart set on a specific animal? Our adoption counselors always consider your requests and will do their best to find the perfect match for your home.

Please note: Breed notification emails are sent between midnight and 4 a.m. Check our Adopt a Pet page for animal availability (updated every 15 minutes) for the most current information.
