Please note: To maintain safety of the community and City of Irvine staff while encouraging safe placement of adoptable pets, Irvine Animal Care Center is open for adoptions by appointment only. Requests will be accepted by phone, and application documentation will be completed online. Drop-in services are not available. Learn more at irvineanimals.org/appointment.

Staff are on-site to care for the animals, and if you have an urgent concern, please call the center at 949-724-7740 during operating hours. This preventative measure is in response to mitigating the spread of COVID-19. The Irvine City Council and City staff offer our sincere apologies for this inconvenience. Please visit cityofirvine.org for updates.
