Please note: Tennis and pickleball courts have been reopened, with safety guidelines in place to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), for public drop in-use by members of no more than three households. Drop-in users are encouraged to adhere to posted safety guidelines. The City has 98 tennis courts; see a map here. To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community, some indoor facilities and outdoor recreational spaces may be closed or have modified access until further notice. Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use by individuals while wearing a face covering. In accordance with state guidelines, gatherings of people from more than three households are prohibited, and individuals must maintain physical distance from others outside of their group. Playgrounds are open. Athletic outdoor spaces may be open for practices, games, and competitions with modifications. The City of Irvine has 98 public tennis courts and offers beginning, advanced beginning, intermediate, or advanced level tennis lessons, leagues, and tournaments for youth, adults, and seniors.
