Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use. Outdoor playgrounds, and athletic and recreational fields and courts, have reopened with modified access. Northwood Community Center is a multi-use facility that offers a variety of classes for the community. It includes a multipurpose room, exercise room, meeting room, classroom, kitchen, and picnic area. View details about rentable spaces within Northwood Community Center below.
Please note: One of two picnic shelters is always left open for first-come, first-served use for groups of 50 or fewer. The additional shelter is available is for reservations. Groups larger than 50 or those bringing in vendor services (such as bounce houses or catering) must make reservations.
The City of Irvine offers a variety of classes at Northwood Community Center, including sports, arts, cooking, science, and recreational programs for kids; karate, tennis, and soccer classes; and adult fitness activities including Pilates.
