Quail Hill Community Center

Quail Hill Community Center opened March 2017 and is next to Quail Hill Community Park, surrounded by preserved open space. The center offers a variety of classes for the community. It includes one large classroom, a multipurpose room, an exercise room, a lobby, patio space, and outdoor and playground amenities. Please note: Reservations are not available for the picnic tables throughout the playground area; they are available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 49 or less patrons. Alcohol and vendors (e.g., caterers or entertainers) are not permitted. Additional picnic tables are also available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 50 or fewer without vendor services at nearby Quail Hill Community Park.

Programs

The City of Irvine offers a variety of classes at Quail Hill Community Center, including kids STEM, science, and sports programs; dance and fitness courses for adults; and soccer leagues. For all programs and activities currently at Quail Hill Community Center, visit yourirvine.org.

Available Facility Reservations

Multipurpose Room

Quail Hill Community Center's multipurpose room can be reserved as a whole room or split into two separate rooms. The 2,956-square-foot room features a carpeted floor and utilizes black mesh chairs to accommodate theater-style seating, banquet seating with 5-foot round tables, or classroom-style seating with 6-foot conference tables. Maximum capacity for the whole room ranges from 100 to 200 attendees, depending on setup. 

Kitchen

The kitchen is available only with a whole multipurpose room reservation and requires an add-on fee. No cooking of food is permitted. Prepared or catered food may be kept warm or cold by utilizing the kitchen amenities, which include a microwave, oven, refrigerator, and freezer. No barbecuing permitted.

Patio A & B

The patio spaces are available only with a whole multipurpose room reservation and require an add-on fee. Each 1,204-square-foot patio features concrete pavers. Rental applicant must provide their own tables and chairs for outdoor use. Patio A is located in the front of the community center facing the parking lot. Patio B is located in the back of the community center and features a raised artificial grass lawn measuring 40x80 feet.

Classroom

Quail Hill Community Center's classroom can be reserved as either a whole room, or split into two separate rooms. The 2,079-square-foot room features a polished concrete floor and utilizes black mesh chairs to accommodate theater-style seating, and banquet seating or classroom seating with 6-foot rectangle tables. Maximum capacity for the whole room ranges from 80 to 105 attendees, depending on the setup. 

Exercise Room

The 972-square-foot exercise room features wood flooring and can be reserved for dance or exercise activities. No tables or chairs are permitted in this room. Maximum room capacity is 20 attendees.

Policies & Fees

The City of Irvine Community Services Reservation Policy is established to ensure that the use of City facilities and parks aligns with City values, provides fair access to all users, remains fair priced, operates in a fiscally responsible manner, and supports a safe and sustainable community.

The Community Facilities Reservation Policy and Community Facility Fees will detail the category rates and permit hours for each site, and identify additional fees for events requiring alcohol service, filming, or equipment rentals.
