Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge

Please note: To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community, some indoor facilities and outdoor recreational spaces may be closed or have modified access until further notice. 

Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use. Outdoor playgrounds, and athletic and recreational fields and courts, have reopened with modified access. Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge is a 22-acre park open to the public for recreational use. The park includes basketball, sand volleyball, and handball courts, as well as a picnic shelter. View details about rentable spaces within Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge below.

Picnic Shelter

Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge includes one picnic shelter available for reservation. The picnic shelter features four tables and two barbecues. Picnic capacity is up to 75 attendees.

Reservation Fees & Hours

Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge's picnic shelter, located adjacent to Lakeview Senior Center, is available for rent; hourly rates vary by group and event type (see the Reservation Policy for more details). Please see the table below for a general overview of fees, or refer to the Picnic Shelter information within Lakeview Senior Center's PDF here. Reservations outside of regular operating hours may be subject to additional fees, noted below.
