Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use. Outdoor playgrounds, and athletic and recreational fields and courts, have reopened with modified access. Harvard Community Center is a multi-use facility located within Harvard Community Park that offers a variety of classes and activities to the community. View details about rentable spaces within Harvard Community Center below.

Please note: Reservations are not available for picnic tables adjacent to the center in Harvard Community Park. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 50 or fewer. Alcohol and vendors (e.g., caterers or entertainers) are not permitted. 

Programs

The City of Irvine offers a variety of classes at Harvard Community Center, including youth education programs and adult softball leagues. For all programs and activities currently at Harvard Community Center, visit yourirvine.org.

Available Facility Reservations

Multipurpose Room

Harvard Community Center's 1,330-square-foot multipurpose room features carpeted floor, and can accommodate banquet-, classroom-, and theater-style seating. The multipurpose room has access to a small warming kitchen, which is available at an additional cost. Maximum room capacity is up to 80 attendees, depending on setup. 



Kitchen

Access to the warming kitchen is available at an additional cost and is only permitted with a multipurpose room reservation. The kitchen includes a microwave, range, refrigerator, and freezer. Food may not be prepared from scratch at Harvard Community Center, and instead must be prepared at another facility and reheated or kept warm using the kitchen amenities. No barbecuing permitted.


Picnic Shelter

Reservations are not available for the picnic tables throughout the park area; they are available on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of 50 or fewer. Alcohol and vendors (e.g., caterers or entertainers) are not permitted. The picnic area features 10 picnic tables and five barbecues.

Reservation Fees & Hours

Harvard Community Center's rooms are available for rent; hourly rates vary by room, group, and event type (see the Reservation Policy for more details). Please see the table below for a general overview of fees, or view a PDF version here. Reservations outside of regular operating hours may be subject to additional fees, noted below.

Please note: The above fees apply to room rental only. Events including alcohol will incur additional fees. Other needed services, such as security, porter service, or equipment rentals, are available with additional fees.
