Through One Irvine, the City partners with the residents of specific neighborhoods to identify and address local needs. Based on community feedback, the City then prepares a Neighborhood Action Plan outlining new policies and programs that can help strengthen and enhance resident quality of life.
North El Camino Real – Greentree, The Willows, and El Camino Glen
The City’s first Neighborhood Action Plan focuses on the North El Camino Real communities of Greentree, The Willows, and El Camino Glen. These areas were developed between 1970 and 1975 and are some of the oldest residential neighborhoods in northern Irvine.
During the summer of 2019, area residents shared their feedback through a community survey. Based on survey results, the City has prepared a draft One Irvine Neighborhood Action Plan – North El Camino Real. The City Council will be reviewing the proposed Neighborhood Action Plan on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. The draft document may be accessed through this link.
