Please note: The City of Irvine continues to follow state and local health and safety guidelines. Our community centers and indoor facilities are open for drop-in use. Outdoor recreational spaces including parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields and courts are open. Recreational programming is available to the community for registration at yourirvine.org. Learn more at cityofirvine.org/reopenirvine.
Aquatics operations at William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center and Northwood Aquatics Center have resumed. Programming such as lap swimming, shallow water lap swim, water aerobics, and Learn to Swim will be offered by reservation only through yourirvine.org.
Recreational swimming is open to all ages. Children 5 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult, one-on-one, in the water at all times. All participants that would like to explore the deep end, use the water slide, diving pool and diving boards will need to pass a swim test. Please inquire at the lobby for more information about the swim test. Cost is $4 per adult and $2 per child.
Recreational swim is currently canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information on the City's latest measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, visit cityofirvine.org/covid19.
