Building Safety Month was established by the International Code Council (ICC) to raise awareness about both the importance of safe buildings, as well as the role of the new building codes in ensuring

The Cal State University Fullerton Small Business Development Center is hosting the SBDC Small Business Clinic, a program offered in collaboration with the City of Irvine for Irvine-based businesses, with the goal of bringing business assistance and support to small business owners into the community.

The City of Irvine Legislative Affairs Program maintains a continuous, prompt, and transparent system for bringing new legislative information and pursuing grant opportunities. The Program provides a means to advance and protect the City’s interests on issues at the federal and state levels. The Program includes dedicated staff members, an ad hoc City Council subcommittee, and development of the City’s short- and long-term legislative and funding priorities based on Council direction.

The University of California, Irvine, is collaborating with the City of Irvine to host City of Irvine Day at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark Friday, May 3 at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to watch the UCI men’s baseball team take on Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, on a day celebrating the relationship between the City and UCI.
