Please join the City of Irvine to provide input on potential pickleball courts at the Great Park. A town hall event will be held Tuesday, April 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Great Park Hangar 244, 8000 Great Park Blvd.

As concept plans are being considered, guests will be able to provide input on the design, layout, shade, seating, access, circulation, style, size, and more. Information gathered will be used to shape recommendations and decisions about future park planning at the Great Park.

The City of Irvine, in partnership with the Orange County Armenian Genocide Memorial Committee, is hosting a site dedication for the future Armenian Genocide Memorial to be located in the Great Park. The City of Irvine is home to a large and active Armenian American community, and the memorial will serve as an abstract or personified concept representing a memorializing of the tragedies of the past, the present thriving community, and the hopeful aspirations for the future. The site dedication and future memorial signify a beacon of hope.

On Tuesday, May 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hangar 244 at Great Park, the City of Irvine will host a Great Park Development Open House to introduce community members and residents to the future of the park. Carefully curated partners involved in this next phase of development — the Great Park Framework Plan — will be on-site and available to discuss their vision, plans, and next steps.
