Spring Into Health Fitness Challenge FAQs

Who can participate?

Irvine residents ages 50 and older.

Where and how can I participate?

Sign up by April 8 to receive your first Challenge Card. Then, participate in any fitness class held at one of the three senior centers or workout at one of the Senior Fitness Centers between April 1 and May 10 to get your card stamped. Class registration and/or fitness center membership required.

Where do I get my Challenge Card stamped? 

At the front desk of the Lakeview and Rancho Senior Centers or Trabuco Center.

Do workouts at home or another facility count toward the Fitness Challenge?  

No, all Fitness Challenge workouts must be completed at one of the three senior centers.

Can I earn more than one stamp a day? 

Yes, you can earn one stamp for each class or Senior Fitness Center workout you complete.

What happens when I complete a Challenge Card? 

Once you have received all eight stamps on your Challenge Card, visit the front desk of one of the senior centers to receive a new one.

What do I do with my completed Challenge Cards?  

Hold on to your completed cards until the end of the challenge. You will bring all completed cards to the Fitness Challenge Social to be turned in for raffle tickets.

If I lose my card, can I get a new one?

Yes, but you will not be awarded any lost stamps. If you find your card, stamps can be combined at the front desk.

How many tickets do I get for the prize drawing?

You will receive one raffle ticket for each stamp on your Challenge Cards.

Who gets invited to the Fitness Challenge Social?

Anyone who registered for the Challenge may attend the social.

Can I still turn in my Challenge Cards if I can't attend the social?

You must be present at the social to be entered into the drawing.
