2023 Special Events​

Senior Expo 

August 25. Take control of your health and wellnes. This free event geared toward adults 50 and older will include health screenings, nutrition information, demonstrations, and a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing products, services, and information related to wellness, safety, nutrition, and more. Senior Expo will take place Friday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is not required. Visit irvineseniors.org/expo for more information. 

Trick-or-Treat 

October 27. Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a morning of Halloween fun. Featuring special trick-or-treat stations, snacks, and Halloween activities. Trick-or-Treat will take place Friday, October 27, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is for children ages 1 to 6. Registration recommended at yourirvine.org; walk-ups accepted as space permits. Fee is $5 per child.  

Diwali 

November 3. Celebrate Diwali, a popular and festive Indian tradition to welcome the New Year. Enjoy cultural entertainment and light refreshments. Diwali will take place Friday, November 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $5 per person. Presented by Ektaa Center: South Asian Senior Association.  

Twilight Holiday Social

December 8. The weather is getting colder and the holidays are near; its time for a celebration with those we hold dear. Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, including hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and dancing. Twilight Holiday Social will take place Friday, December 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Trabuco Center.  Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per person.
