Celebrate the holidays all winter long with the City of Irvine. Join an evening of holiday cheer at our annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony, and enjoy festive activities monthlong at the Orange County Great Park during “Holidayz at the Park.”
Holidayz at the Park
’Tis the season for family fun and holiday cheer as the Orange County Great Park transforms into a winterscape featuring holiday-themed art, music, and decorations. Enjoy festive lights, photo ops, and family activities November 23–December 31 at the park. There’s something for everybody:
- Take a stroll through the Palm Court adorned with holiday decorations and “Air Santa,” a larger-than-life airplane paying homage to Saint Nick’s travels and the park’s military roots;
- Visit the Artist Studios to enjoy interactive displays and festive photo backdrops for the best holiday selfie stations you’ll find this season;
- Enjoy train rides Saturday evenings from 4 to 8 p.m. beginning December 14;
- And sign up at yourirvine.org for seasonally themed programs, where kids and families can paint their own stocking, decorate a gingerbread house, and enjoy a screening of Polar Express on the big outdoor screen during a holiday pajama party.
Activities begin in November, while the park lighting and decorations go up December 1.
The Great Park is located at 8000 Great Park Blvd. in Irvine. Visit ocgp.org/holidayz for a list of all activities. For more information, call 949-724-6247.
