Celebrate the 19th annual Irvine Global Village Festival with the second of two drive-in concerts paying tribute to the rich musical history of Irvine's premier community event.
Join the City of Irvine on Saturday, October 10, for a live performance by the Mariachi Divas, put on in partnership with The Irvine Barclay Theatre at the Orange County Great Park. Gates open at 3 p.m., and the concert kicks off at 4 p.m. in drive-in format. Park your cars and bring a picnic to enjoy this all-female mariachi band while safely following social distancing guidelines. Food will be available for purchase from on-site food trucks Kala Truck and Scooter’s Italian Ice.
The concert will also feature live performances by Las Estrellas Ballet Folklorico, as well as Bollywood and dances from India.
Pre-registration online is required, and opens on September 22, 10 a.m., at yourirvine.org. Tickets will be on sale for three weeks or until sold out; the first week of sales is open to Irvine residents only, and the remaining weeks are open to all members of the public. Tickets are $25 per car for general admission and $40 per car for front row VIP access.
