Irvine CONNECT
Irvine CONNECT provides free shuttle service for community members traveling between the northern end of Irvine to Irvine Station, with stops at parks, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers. On July 1, 2025, Irvine CONNECT expanded its route, reaching even more neighborhoods.
Weekdays: 6 a.m.-8 p.m.
Weekends: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Shuttle frequency is approximately every 20 minutes. Arrival times are estimates and may fluctuate based on traffic, weather, or ridership volume.

TRIPS
TRIPS provides wheelchair-accessible transportation for older adults ages 60 and older and individuals with disabilities ages and older through a reservation-based system. Operated by City of Irvine staff, –– with reliable, personalized service for scheduled trips to essential destinations within Irvine and nearby areas.

WeRide
Irvine residents ages 60 and older can access WeRide, a same-day, wheelchair-accessible transportation service powered by trained volunteer drivers. WeRide provides flexible, curb-to-curb rides for short, local trips. Through a user-friendly app, older adults can request same-day transportation for errands, recreation, appointments, and social visits.

ACCESS Service
ACCESS is OCTA's shared-ride service for people who are unable to use the regular, fixed-route bus service because of functional limitations caused by a disability. These passengers must be certified by OCTA to use the ACCESS system by meeting the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) eligibility criteria. The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is a multi-modal transportation agency serving Orange County and is Irvine’s largest public transportation provider. OCTA operates local and express service within Orange County and express service to Los Angeles and Riverside counties. With routes traveling in and through the IBC and connecting service to public transportation throughout Southern California, OCTA can help get you where you need to go.
