Please note: The City of Irvine has taken several precautionary safety measures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community. By emergency order, community centers, playgrounds, indoor facilities, athletic fields and courts, and stadiums may be closed or have modified access until further notice. This includes the Irvine Fine Arts Center and open studio hours. The City of Irvine apologizes for this inconvenience.
Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use, and tennis and pickleball courts have been reopened. Modified fall recreational programming will be available to the community, and is available for registration at yourirvine.org. Learn more at the City Facility Updates webpage.
The Printmaking Studio is equipped for traditional printmaking techniques. Various etching presses, including a 36x72 inch manual Ettan press, outfit the studio and allow for print techniques and processes such as intaglio, relief, collagraph, and monoprint.
A UV exposure unit for alternative photo and printmaking processes is also available. Reservation required.
Whether you have a passion for letterpress or affection for relief, let our modest studio accommodate your creative appetite with this century old tradition!
Previous studio experience and closed toe shoes are required. Participants must be 18 years or older. For more information please call the Irvine Fine Arts Center front desk: 949-724-6880.
