NOTICE OF UPDATED FEE SCHEDULES:

The City of Irvine will be increasing fees effective August 15, 2023 per the adopted Development Processing and Inspection Fee Resolution 23-55. The newer rates will apply to all projects submitted or issued on or after August 15th. Any fees/invoices sent prior to this increase must be paid by August 14th to maintain the fees as previously indicated. Any unpaid fees/invoices will be automatically recalculated on August 15th to reflect the updated fees. All adjustments being implemented are consistent with the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim Consumer Price Index (CPI). The City of Irvine will also adopt the International Code Council’s Building Valuation Data of February 2023 effective August 15, 2023. .  All adjustments being implemented are consistent with the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim Consumer Price Index (CPI). The Transportation Corridor Agencies have updated their fees effective July 1, 2023. Please click here for additional TCA fee information.

NEW SUBCONTRACTORS LIST AVAILABLE April 2023. 

A complete list of subcontractors must be provided to the City in accordance with Irvine Municipal Code Section 5-9-205.  Click here to complete online. Your completed form will be automatically submitted to the Inspections Department.

2022 Building Code Adoption:

Beginning January 1, 2023, the 2022 California Building Codes became effective and enforceable for all new permit applications. As such, new projects uploaded to IrvineReady after 5:00 pm on December 30, 2022 will be subject to the new 2022 California Building Codes. All new projects uploaded to IrvineReady by 5:00 pm on December 30, 2022 with a complete permit application and applicable construction documents will be subject to the 2019 California Building Codes provided that applicable plan check fees are paid by January 29, 2023.

 

 

Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. When scheduling an appointment, please include the reason for your visit. If file upload assistance is needed, be sure to bring pdf copies of your project files on a USB drive.
