Irvine Super Swim Lesson
Adults and children of all swimming abilities are invited to participate in Irvine's largest group swim lesson in an effort to raise awareness for drowning prevention. Arrive at 5:30 p.m. to sign up for the 6 p.m. lesson. Then, stay afterward for a recreation swim and screening of the movie Sing on the big screen.

Pacific Symphony in the Cities
Enjoy a free outdoor concert featuring the Pacific Symphony, led by Music Director Carl St.Clair. A Musical Playground with interactive activities for children takes place at 5:30 p.m. and includes making an instrument, playing a drum, meeting a musician, plus a conducting clinic with Maestro St.Clair. Bring low-back chairs, blankets, a picnic or purchase treats from one of the gourmet food trucks onsite.

Irvine Global Village Festival
Travel the world at the 16th annual Irvine Global Village Festival. This all-day event features more than 100 performances representing cultures from around the world; international cuisine; kids' crafts and activities; cultural and religious exhibits; and an international marketplace. Festival admission and parking are free. A variety of sample-sized servings of food will be available for purchase, with prices ranging from $2 to $5; please bring cash.
