The South Coast Chinese Cultural Center (SCCCC) and the City of Irvine will host a book launch celebration for Chinese-Americans in Irvine 1971–2021. The free event will take place Wednesday, May 4, at City Hall. The reception will begin at 5 p.m., and the formal program will start at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber.

SCCCC published Chinese-Americans in Irvine 1971–2021 in April 2022, and distributed the book to community organizations and libraries. Additional copies of the book will be available to the public in the future.
