IRVINE, Calif. (Feb. 25, 2016):  Community members can help provide needed care for animals in the Irvine Animal Care Center’s Foster Care Program by contributing supplies during the Center’s Foster Donation Drive. The drive, to be held March 1 through 31, enables the Animal Care Center to nurture young and ill animals.

Among the needed supplies: Milk replacement formula, kitten nursing bottles, cardboard scratchers, puppy Nylabone chews, receiving blankets, puppy training pads and more. A full wish list is available on the Irvine Animal Care Center’s gift registry at amazon.com, or at cityofirvine.org/animal-care-center.

As part of this effort, the Animal Care Center will host a Kitten and Puppy Shower on March 12 from 1-4 p.m. at the Center. Light refreshments will be provided as volunteers and Animal Care Center staff members deliver some of the donated goods to the kittens and puppies in need.

The Irvine Animal Care Center is at 6443 Oak Canyon Road. Call 949-724-7740 for more information.
