Earth Day Celebration Honors Irvine’s Commitment to Sustainability

Join us Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Quail Hill Community Center for a fun and educational Earth Day event hosted by the City of Irvine.

Enjoy guided hikes, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on activities focused on sustainability. Connect with local environmental partners and explore ways to live a little greener.

Event Highlights

  • Guided Hikes with Irvine Ranch Conservancy - Explore the scenic Quail Hill Loop Trail with guided hikes at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Space is limited; sign-ups are available on-site.
  • Composting Demonstration - Learn how composting can help reduce waste and improve garden health. This interactive demonstration begins at noon and includes easy tips to get started.
  • Go Solar Coffee Chat - Meet with OC Goes Solar at 11:30 a.m. for a casual conversation about the benefits of solar energy and how it can reduce costs while supporting a more sustainable future.
