The Heritage Park and University Park Libraries will open as the first Irvine Public Library branches Sunday, August 3, with business operating hours beginning Monday, August 4. 

The Katie Wheeler Library will be transitioned from a County facility to an Irvine Public Library in early 2026.

Heritage Park Regional Library

The library is located near the corner of Walnut Avenue and Yale Avenue, close to the I-5 Freeway between Culver Drive and Jeffrey Road. Parking is available in front of the library.

Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Friday–Sunday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

University Park Library
