Irvine Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee

The Committee's mission is to provide ongoing review and evaluation of the City's children, youth, and family-related initiatives. 

The Irvine Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee meets quarterly to review and evaluate the City of Irvine's Strategic Plan for Children, Youth and Families. Meetings are held 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Irvine Civic Center.

Composition

The committee is comprised of 15 voting members consisting of liaison and appointee representatives. The liaison members include two members of the Community Services Commission, two Members-at-Large, two youth members, and five agency representatives. The appointee members represent five City Council members, each appointing one representative.

Irvine Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee Meeting: August 25

The City is pleased to announce that the regular Irvine Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee (ICYFAC) meeting on August 26 will be available through Zoom, as well as a dial-in conference call line. In an effort to enhance community engagement, community members may submit comments via email to mbackhus@cityofirvine.org on upcoming agenda items, or community members may provide live public comments via Zoom during ICYFAC meetings.
