The Art of Chinese Calligraphy

Discover how to control calligraphy brushes, execute brush strokes, and the structure of Chinese characters while exploring stories of famous calligraphers throughout Chinese history. Through concentration and relaxation, embark on a peaceful journey of enrichment and accomplishment. Supplies will be discussed on first day of instruction. Inst: I-Tuan Wang.

Hawaiian Hula and Ukulele

Participants will learn basic hula steps and English translation to popular Hawaiian songs. One complete dance with proper hula movement and interpretation will be performed at the end of specified session. Music will be provided by instructor. Ukulele and hula instruction for all classes. Harmonica Ensemble

Open to advance players who can read harmonica notes (numbered musical notations, not Staves) are good at harmonica scales or have completed Intermediate class. Performance is available by invitation. Bring your own music stand and harmonicas (must be 24 holes with two reeds and in the key of C and C#; both must be the same brand). Limited amount available for purchase in class.

Circuit Training

Are you looking for a highly effective and efficient workout? Circuit training is designed to provide a total body strengthening while also improving cardiovascular health. Through quick, high-intensity intervals, key upper and lower body muscles will be strengthened and brief rest periods will allow for re-energizing. All fitness levels welcome.
