The City of Irvine offers advertising in Inside Irvine, its quarterly magazine. By advertising, you will reach more than 105,000 residents and a handful of non-residents who actively take classes with the City. In conjunction with Imagination Celebration, S.T.E.A.M. Drawing engages participants in fun and hands-on drawing activities using symbols, motifs and images from subjects such as science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). Participants are encouraged to unleash their creativity and use drawing to bridge the gap between diverse perspectives and ideas. Participants will activate their creative self, broaden observational skills, enhance drawing skills, expand visual vocabulary, excel collaboration and create artworks that empower all.

Join the Irvine Fine Arts Center for a weaving workshop with exhibiting artist Lesley Kice Nishigawara. Learn about the wrap and weft of a weaving as well as basic weave structures and finishing techniques. Participants will take home a colorful weaving of their own design. Ages 14+. $59. Go behind the scenes of artist Eric Stoner's multimedia collage process and learn the wide variety of techniques and materials the artist employs in his work. Participants will be guided through the process of storytelling through collage and illustrations, and take home a composition reflecting their own personal story. Ages 18+. $59. Creativity and imagination are stimulated through stories about wonders of life in the garden.  Gently used book donations to the Farm + Food Lab’s Little Free Library are welcomed.
