The Irvine City Council approved $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect who vandalized Beth Jacob Congregation last month. The reward matches the $5,000 reward offered previously by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), bringing the total to $10,000.
The community is invited on Tuesday, Nov. 27 to honor Councilmember Jeffrey Lalloway and Councilwoman Lynn Schott for their dedicated public service at a presentation that begins approximately at 5 p.m. at the Irvine Civic Center. A public reception will follow at approximately 6 p.m.

The City of Irvine Animal Care Center hosts its 12th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday, December 9. More than 40 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 600 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption.
