Spooktacular FAQs

Do I need a ticket for this event? How do I register?

Tickets are required for children 12 and younger. Infants only require a ticket if they will be participating in the activities, including the Pumpkin Patch and Treat Town.

Tickets are limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Online sales begin at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 18, and registration will close once tickets sell out. Adults do not need tickets.

Create a Your Irvine account at yourirvine.org in advance. When tickets go on sale, it will help to expedite the purchase of your tickets to avoid any delays.

What do I get with the purchase of my ticket?

Each ticket gives your child access to activities including carnival games with prizes, crafts, a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, Harvest Walk, and more.

Why do I have to select a time for my ticket?

When purchasing your child’s ticket, you must select one of two time slots: 9 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. This time determines your entry into the Pumpkin Patch and Treat Town. Choosing entry times in advance reduces wait time and helps you enjoy the many additional Spooktacular activities that can be visited throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Will Spooktacular tickets be available on-site?

Tickets are available online before the event only. Spooktacular is expected to sell out, so please register early.

What is the cost of admission and parking?

Children 12 and younger are $5 plus food donation for access into the Pumpkin Patch and Treat Town. (Suggested donation is one grocery bag of nonperishable food items per child.) No adult registration required. Parking is free.

Does the Pumpkin Patch and Trick-or-Treat Town have a separate ticket?

Access into the Pumpkin Patch and Treat Town is provided with each child’s ticket plus food donation. Upon admission and drop-off of food donation, you will receive an entry pass based upon your ticket time. Pumpkins and treats are available while supplies last.

Who benefits from the donations?

All donations benefit CAPOC's Orange County Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Can costumes be worn to the event?

Absolutely! We encourage the entire family to dress up and participate in the festivities. Come take photos at the many fun and unique photo backdrops at the event.

Where do I park?

Event entrance to the Orange County Great Park is located off I-5 or I-405 at Sand Canyon on Trabuco Road/Great Park Boulevard in Irvine.

Can I cancel or change the date/time of my tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable; dates and times cannot be exchanged.

Is there a waitlist?

A waitlist will open once Spooktacular sells out. Tickets for waitlisted guests are not guaranteed. Should a spot become available, an email notification will be sent. Visitors will not be able to view where they are “in line” on the waitlist.
