Please note: The City of Irvine has taken several precautionary safety measures to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community. By emergency order, some indoor spaces, amenities, and athletic facilities at the Great Park may be closed or have modified access until further notice. This includes the Great Park Balloon, Carousel, Visitors Center, Artist Studios, playgrounds, and Sports Complex (including all athletic fields, basketball courts, and stadiums). The Irvine City Council and City staff offer our sincere apologies for this inconvenience.
The Great Park Gallery and Hangar 244 are closed until further notice effective July 1, in accordance with state guidance from the California Department of Public Health. For more information, see the California Department of Public Health's press release here.
Irvine outdoor park spaces remain open for passive use, and tennis and pickleball courts have been reopened. The Farm + Food Lab has now reopened, and visitors are required to wear facial coverings and practice social distancing. The Sports Complex is now open for professional sporting activities, without fans in attendance. Learn more at the City Facility Updates webpage.
Sports field reservations are available for tournaments, ongoing team practices and games, sports camps and one-time or selected date use. Reservations are coordinated through the Great Park Athletics staff based upon availability.

Pickup games and walk-on use may not begin prior to 8 a.m. The lighted fields on the South Lawn are not available for pickup games or walk-on use. Signs are posted on these fields.
