HOA Board Member Education

Master planned communities are able to offer residents more amenities and great features, but that also means they need more hands-on management to remain financially healthy and properly maintained. As a part of the One Irvine program, the City intends to offer resources to strengthen the knowledge base of those serving on HOA boards. We want to provide our private communities with strategic planning tools, as well as financial and asset management education, so that they remain thriving and beautiful. Below are some course ideas.

  • HOA 101: Basics of Being an HOA Board Member
  • How to Evaluate your HOA Maintenance Plan
  • What You Need to Know About Reserve Funds
  • Don’t be the HOA Bad Guy
  • Ways to Cut Costs and Keep HOA Assessments Stable
