Irvine Police Seek Public’s Assistance Locating Elderly Man with Dementia

IRVINE, Calif. (August 23, 2022) – The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 78-year-old Armando “Gabby” Vasquez, who suffers from dementia.

Vasquez was last seen at 4:00 p.m. near the intersection of Yale and Irvine Center Drive. He is described as a male Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, navy blue shorts, and tennis shoes. He may be riding a pink beach cruiser bicycle.

In the past, Vasquez has been known to walk around North Lake in the community of
Woodbridge in Irvine.

The Irvine Police Department is asking the community to be on the lookout for Vasquez. If you see someone matching his description, please call the Irvine Police Department at 949-724-7200.
