City of Irvine’s 12th Annual Senior Fitness Expo is August 27

The City of Irvine encourages the community to take control of their health and wellness by attending the 12th annual Senior Fitness Expo Friday, August 27, 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Rancho Senior Center. This free outdoor event geared toward adults 50 and older features health screenings, educational presentations, and a wide variety of the latest health and fitness exhibitors.

Guests will learn how to improve their well-being through fitness demonstrations including dance, tai chi, strength training, chair yoga, and more. The Senior Fitness Expo will also feature an opportunity drawing for prizes including items from local business and event exhibitors.

“Health and fitness have proven especially important to our senior community over the past year and a half, and we’re looking forward to providing a safe outdoor space for Irvine seniors to focus on their well-being,” said Irvine Mayor Farrah N. Khan.

Advance registration is required for all attendees, and tickets are available for specific entrance times to ensure distancing and limited gathering. Pre-registration is available at yourirvine.org.

Rancho Senior Center is located at 3 Ethel Coplen Way in Irvine. For more information, visit irvineseniors.org/expo or call 949-724-6800.
