Irvine Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect

Irvine, CA (June 4, 2015): The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a bank robbery suspect.

The suspect is described as male, medium complexion with skin color blotches, approximately 6’0” and 200lbs, black hair, unshaven with a goatee, wearing black gloves, a dark-colored hat, black-framed glasses, a blue windbreaker, jeans, black converse shoes, a black bandana with white print, and a lanyard with a clear plastic card holder around his neck. The suspect may possible speak with a slight Hispanic or Middle Eastern accent.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. on June 3, 2015, the suspect entered the US Bank inside the Ralphs Grocery Store on the 5300 block of Alton Parkway as the bank was preparing to close.  The suspect approached a teller and showed him a note demanding cash. No weapon was seen or displayed during the incident.

Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a second suspect. The vehicle is described as a silver, 2008 Chrysler 300 with dark tinted windows, large chrome wheels and silver rims, and no front license plate. There is no available description of the second suspect/driver at this time.

The case is being investigated by the Irvine Police Department (IPD) and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
