Winter Holiday Hours

In observance of the winter holidays, City of Irvine offices will be closed:

  • December 24–25, 2018 (Christmas Observed)
  • January 1, 2019 

The public Police Department Business Desk:

  • December 25: Closed 

Community park buildings will be closed December 24–25, 2018, and January 1, 2019.  

Aquatics facilities will be closed December 24–25, 2018, and January 1, 2019. They will close early at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018, for New Year's Eve.

The Irvine Animal Care Center:

  • December 24–25, 2018: Closed
  • January 1, 2019: Closed

The Irvine Fine Arts Center:

  • December 24–25, 2018: Closed
  • December 26–28, 2018, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (modified hours)
  • December 31: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (modified hours)
  • January 1, 2019: Closed 
  • January 2–4, 2019, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (modified hours)

The Orange County Great Park:

  • December 24–25, 2018: General park areas open; all amenities will be closed
  • December 31, 2018–January 1, 2019: General Park areas open; all amenities will be closed

The Child Resource Center:

  • December 24–28, 2018: Closed
  • January 1, 2019: Closed

Street Sweeping & Trash Collection

There will be no street sweeping December 25, 2018, and January 1, 2019.

Waste Management of Orange County encourages tree recycling after the holidays. Curbside tree collection for residents will take place from December 26, 2018, through January 16, 2019, on the customer's scheduled collection day. Additionally, if your service day falls on an observed holiday, your service will be delayed by one day for that week only.
