Orange County Great Park Drive-thru Vaccination Clinic Expands to Include Pfizer

Friday, May 14, 2021

The Orange County Great Park drive-thru vaccination clinic now administers Pfizer vaccines in addition to Moderna and Johnson & Johnson. Individuals 12 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

The City of Irvine in partnership with Providence Health System, opened a mass drive-thru vaccination clinic at the Orange County Great Park April 26. As one of the only remaining drive-thru vaccination sites, the Irvine clinic provides convenient access for Irvine and Orange County residents to protect themselves from COVID-19.

“Our collaborative partnership with Providence makes it possible to adapt to the evolving vaccination guidance and bring the Pfizer vaccine to Irvine as it expands eligibility to children ages 12 and older,” said Mayor Farrah N. Khan. “My top priority continues to be ensuring a safe and healthy community, and our quick response will help us achieve this goal.”

First and second dose vaccination appointments are available as supply allows regardless of where the first dose was administered. Minors must have parental consent and be accompanied by a legal guardian or another adult — if not their legal guardian then consent will be verified telephonically. Appointments are not required but can be scheduled by visiting myturn.ca.gov and searching "Great Park" or by calling 833-422-4255.

Vaccination site information is available in English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Farsi.
