Irvine Police Department Seeks Help in Identifying Child Annoyance Suspect

Irvine, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2018) – The Irvine Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who is accused of child annoyance in a case involving a 13-year-old girl.

On Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 7:50 p.m., the female victim was shopping with her mother at Office Max on Jamboree Road in Irvine. The suspect approached her while she was alone in an aisle and touched her inappropriately while asking what she was shopping for. The suspect then quickly fled.

The suspect is described as a male of Indian decent in his 40s or 50s; 160 to 170 pounds; 5 feet, 10 inches tall; with short, black hair. He was wearing a long-sleeve dress shirt, dark-colored pants, and black dress shoes. He had dark blue or black glasses.
