Preserving the Season: Cabbage

It's crafty, sustainable, delicious, and fun. UC Master Food Preserver chefs will demonstrate how to preserve what you harvest or purchase. 

On November 14, learn about fermenting basics and their nutritional benefits by turning cabbage into kraut and kimchi. These tools can be used to ferment many other vegetables. Event is free, but registration is recommended at (registration opens August 22). Ages 16+.
