Nutrition in the Lab: Making Sense of Carbs, Proteins & Fats

Join speaker Frida Hovik in the Farm + Food Lab as she shares how farming, processing, and food choices can have meaningful impacts on nutrition and health. Frida is a graduate student at USC studying nutrition, health span, and longevity. She has a background in nutrition counseling, diabetes, and obesity prevention and is passionate about sharing this evidence-based research.

On November 7, Frida will discuss ways to understand the roles of carbohydrates, protein, and fats. Learn about ways to add high fiber foods, go lean with protein, and make smart fat choices. Event is free, but registration is recommended at (registration opens August 22). Ages 18+.
