Irvine Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast set for Nov. 21 11/08/2019

Join the City of Irvine, the Irvine Chamber of Commerce and the Exchange Club of Irvine for the 38th Annual Irvine Community Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast, to be held November 21 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel. Tickets for the 7:30 a.m. breakfast are $50; proceeds benefit The Raise Foundation.

Irvine Remembers First City Manager, William Woollett Jr. 11/07/2019

William “Bill” Woollett, Irvine’s first city manager, passed away on Wednesday, November 6. He became the City of Irvine’s first full-time employee when he was hired as City Manager in January 1972. The City of Irvine Animal Care Center hosts its 13th annual Home for the Holidays Pet Adoption Fair 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Sunday, December 8. Join us rain or shine as more than 30 pet rescue groups and animal shelters will bring about 500 homeless dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning across much of Southern California. A Red Flag warning means warm temperatures, very low humidities, and stronger winds are expected to combine to produce an increased risk of fire danger.
