The Traffic Enforcement Unit operates out of the Operations Support Division of the Irvine Police Department within the Traffic/Special Events Bureau. The unit is managed by one of three Operations Support Lieutenants and is supervised by the Traffic Sergeant. The personnel working in the unit are responsible for:
