The following transportation services list has been compiled for residents in the City of Irvine. The City does not endorse or assume liability for these public and private services.

The Transportation Guide for Seniors helps seniors identify transportation options and overcome mobility challenges.
Service: Transportation for residents and employees from the Tustin Metrolink Station through the Irvine Business Complex to John Wayne Airport and from the Irvine Metrolink Station through the Spectrum Center area to Sand Canyon.
Service: Low-cost, door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible transportation to Irvine seniors and adults with disabilities. All participants must be unable to drive due to a physical or cognitive disability.
- Annual registration fee ($25 initial, $20 annual)
- $1.90 one way to any location in Irvine
- $3.80 to $5.70 to other limited areas. Costs vary on location and distance.
Give them your home address first to ensure you live within their service area.
Service: Door-to-door van service for those unable to use the fixed bus route service because of a disability. Wheelchair access. Passengers must go through certification for eligibility.
- Curb-to-curb service at pickup and destination = $3.60 each way
- Door-to-door service at either pickup or destination = $8.60 each way
- Door-to-door service at both pickup and destination = $13.60 each way

Irvine Senior Services Outreach Program
Office hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Transportation hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Service: Transportation provided by Outreach volunteers for seniors who need rides to/from non-emergency medical appointments. Volunteer Drivers can assist with two (2) doctor appointments per month. Pre-registration and one-week advance notice required. Participants must be Irvine residents and ambulatory. Program is not able to accommodate wheelchairs.
Cost: No Charge but donations are accepted to the Friends of Outreach nonprofit organization.
Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Service: Senior transportation provided by the Jewish Family Services of Orange County. Various transportation options including volunteer driver, van with lift, taxi gelt, and group rides.
Cost: Varies depending on service.
The Road to Recovery Program

Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Service: Transportation provided to and from cancer treatment for ambulatory individuals within Orange County sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Reservations must be made a minimum of four (4) business days in advance.
Cost: No charge.
