Exploring Our World 

May 8. Celebrate social oneness as we explore different cultures. Learn new phrases, sample traditional food, and enjoy live performances. Exploring Our World will take place Wednesday, May 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $7 per person. 

Healthy Living Expo  

September 20. Take control of your health and wellness. This free event geared toward adults 50 and older will include health screenings, nutrition information, demonstrations, and a wide variety of exhibitors showcasing products, services, and information. Senior Expo will take place Friday, September 20, from 9 a.m. to Noon at Lakeview Senior Center. This event is free; registration is not required. Visit irvineseniors.org/expo for more information. 

Diwali  

October 18. Celebrate Diwali, a popular and festive Indian tradition to welcome the New Year. Enjoy cultural entertainment and light refreshments. Presented by Ektaa Center: South Asian Senior Association. Diwali will take place Friday, October 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lakeview Senior Center. Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per person.   

Twilight Holiday Social 

December 6. The weather is getting colder and the holidays are near; its time for a celebration with those we hold dear. Join us for an evening of holiday cheer, including hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, and dancing. Twilight Holiday Social will take place Friday, December 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Trabuco Center.  Registration is required at yourirvine.org. Fee is $10 per person.
