Sexual Battery Suspect


IRVINE CA – On December 28, 2005 at approximately 5:30 p.m., a male suspect battered a female victim who had just entered a carport located within the San Mateo apartment complex (Cantata/Portico Aisle).  As the victim was placing some items in her vehicle, the suspect approached her from behind, pushed her against the vehicle, reached under her skirt and fondled her.  The victim struggled and the suspect fled the area moments later.  The suspect has not been identified and the victim was not injured.

Irvine Police Detectives are conducting follow-up regarding this incident.  A composite sketch of the suspect has been completed and is attached.  Anyone with information concerning this case or the identity of the suspect pictured in the sketch should contact Sergeant Jerry Head at (949) 724-7165.

Suspect Description:  Male, Hispanic or Middle Eastern, dark colored short curly hair, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, 20-25 years old, medium to light complexion, wearing blue jeans and a dark colored sweater
