Senior Crime Analyst Darcy Purvis - Employee of the Quarter
On Tuesday, January 21, 2014 Senior Crime Analyst Darcy Purvis received the Employee of the Quarter award at a luncheon hosted by the Irvine Exchange Club at the Marriott Hotel. Chief Maggard, Commander Hallinan and Lieutenant Condon attended the luncheon to lend their support to this well-deserved honor.
Senior Crime Analyst Purvis was nominated for a number of recent accomplishments. Notably, she was recognized for her recent work to produce an analysis of calls for service. Her team’s research played a key role in the realignment and implementation of new geographic policing boundaries. The project required many hours of detailed and accurate work, all of which was accomplished while the Crime Analysis Unit maintained a high level of service to the Patrol, Investigations, Traffic, Public Information and Records units. During the past quarter, Senior Crime Analyst Purvis also worked to improve several Crime Analysis products such as internal and law enforcement only Crime Bulletins, weekly Command Staff Reports, publicly released Information Bulletins and specially crafted bulletins for the Department’s Private Security Partnership group. She was also responsible for providing the new revolving crime analysis information on monitors throughout the building.
Senior Crime Analyst Purvis is described as a quiet leader who inspires those she leads by her example, consistently produces outstanding work and strives to continually improve to meet the needs of the Community.
