September is National Preparedness Month
As part of National Preparedness Month in September, the Irvine Police Department’s Emergency Management Office would like to remind residents about the importance of being prepared. Taking simple steps can go a long way in keeping you and your family safe. Remember to assemble a supply kit; develop a plan of action; register your home, cell and other phone numbers with the City’s iAlert system to receive information about emergencies; follow us on Twitter and Facebook for information during emergencies; or take a Community Emergency Response Team course offered by the City.
All this month, follow our Twitter and Facebook page while we share tips on how you and your family can better prepare.
