Together we Prepare
The Orange County Fire Authority, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is offering preparedness classes to help you prepare for disasters such as earth-quakes or domestic terrorism. In today’s climate, it’s more important than ever that all of us be prepared for possible emergencies. Natural and other disasters can strike suddenly, at any time and anywhere. Come and learn how you can prepare and respond to emergencies at home, at work and in the community. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your concerns about terrorism, sheltering in place, and how to talk to the community about preparedness. Four classes are being conducted on the following dates:
Tuesday, April 1st 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, April 10th 3:30 – 5:00 p. m.
Thursday, April 24th 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Monday, April 28th 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Disaster preparedness kits (fully assembled) will be available for purchase if you would rather not assemble your own kit.
The classes will be held at the American Red Cross, located at 600 Parkcenter Drive, Room 208, Santa Ana. If you or someone on your staff would like to attend, please RSVP to Kathy Danskin at 714/289-3716. Space is limited; please respond as early as possible.
If you have any questions or comments about the classes, please feel free to contact Battalion Chief Scott Brown at 714/289-3722.
