Jeffrey Road Grade Separation Project
The City of Irvine Jeffrey Road Grade Separation project is approaching a major milestone.  At the end of the month, the temporary railroad tracks will be removed to transition the Metrolink trains to the new railroad bridge.

To minimize disruption to residents and businesses, work will be limited this weekend on Jeffrey Road, which will be closed between The Meadows and Smoketree from 8 p.m. Friday, March 26 to 5 a.m. Monday, March 29.  Residents of The Meadows, The Ranch, and Smoketree will continue to access their homes from Jeffrey Road; however turns will be restricted and traffic will not be allowed to cross over the tracks during this closure period.

Barring unforeseen circumstances and/or severe weather, the transition will move forward as scheduled.  Message boards and detour signs will guide traffic around the project.
